一、案例背景

本节课的授课内容是《学英语》第五册的Lesson 29: Buying Train Tickets.本节课是一篇典型的对话课文,延续了本单元的故事内容,介绍了李明到火车站买票以及在火车上发生的事情。

本节课要求学生能够听、说、读、写walk, run, jumpfrom…to…。并能运用所学句型去交际,学会如何买火车票及正确使用Please ____. Don’t ____.

三、教学过程

Step 1. Warming up

Greetings

T: Hello! How are you? How’s the weather today? The National Day is coming. I want to go on a trip. Do you want to go with me?

S: Yes.

   T: Before we go, let’s sing “travel song”.

   设计意图:从天气入手,以歌曲热身,引入到自己想要去旅行,同时邀请同学们和我一起去,使学生进入到去旅行的情境中。

  Step 2. Presentation

1T: Are you ready for your trips? I’m ready, too. I want to go on a trip to Shijiazhuang. Where do you want to go?

   S: I want to go to Beijing……

   T: What do we need for our trips?

   S1: We need food, clothes…

   S2: We need a ticket.

   T: Do you have tickets?

   S: No.

   T: Let’s buy tickets today. But where can I buy a ticket?(学生说出在火车站) Yes, in the train station.

   屏幕出示火车站图片,教师示范、领读train station

   T: This is a train station. We can buy tickets here. Look, there are many tickets. This is a ticket from ___ to___.

教师板书from ___ to___

   T: What about this ticket? Ask the students to say it. Say together usingThis is a ticket from ___ to___.

   2、教师出示一张车票,“This is a ticket from ___ to ___. Look carefully, how much is the ticket? When does the train leave? Guess when does the train arrive?

   设计意图:通过学生的观察,引导学生捕捉车票上的有效信息,像价格,开车时间,因为车票上没有到达时间,所以让学生根据已有经验来猜测到达时间。买东西学生在三年级已经学过,在此环节中,我努力使新旧知识达到合理的整合,使学生轻松学会如何到火车站买车票。

3、教师和一学生示范对话。

T: I want to go to Shijiazhuang. But I haven’t got a ticket. Now I am going to the train station. I will buy a ticket.

  Hello, how are you?

S: Fine, thank you. Can I help you?

T: I want to go to Shijiazhuang. How much for a ticket from Tangshan to Shijiazhuang?

S: Seventy-six yuan.

T: When does the train leave?

S: At

T: When does the train arrive?

S: It arrives at

T: I need one ticket, please.

S: Here you are. Have a good trip! Bye.

4、小组操练到火车站买车票。

5T: Today Li Ming is going to the train station. He is going to buy tickets. Let’s look. Before we look, here are some questions for you.

Questions:

6T: Now I have a ticket. I can go on a trip. I feel happy. Look, what am I doing?

S: You are walking/running/jumping.(教师板书四会内容walk, run, jump,领读,渗透发音规律。)

T: Boys and girls, do you have tickets? Do you feel happy?

S: Yes.

T: Let’s play a gameSimon Says.(教师发指令,像Simon Says: Let’s walk/run/jump. Walk/run/jump quickly. Walk/run/jump slowly. Don’t walk/run/jump

7T: I want to go to Shijiazhuang. Who want to go with me? Let’s go.

8T: Li Ming has bought four tickets, they will go to Beijing. Listen to N2 , what will happen on the train?

听音,填表

课后反思:

本节课的教学内容是“Buying Train Tickets”。上课伊始,通过师生之间的“free talk”和一首旋律欢快的“travel song”,目的是让学生在轻松愉快的气氛中开始学习,同时使学生进入到要去旅行的情境中,我依据教材的难易程度,逐层渐进,由易到难地设计了形式多样的教学活动。通过“Simon Says”的游戏,活跃了课堂气氛,而且有效地巩固了本课的四会内容“walk  run  jump”。在“Listen and Do”环节中,由教师发指令,学生作动作到学生发指令,学生做动作,学生的能力得到了逐步提升。在创编对话环节,通过小组合作,学生的思想、语言和情感都得到了交流,并且学生能够联系生活实际,孩子们的语言交际能力得到了提高。

《小学生英语课程标准》中明确指出,小学英语教学的主要目的是使学生获得为交际初步运用英语的能力。而语言交际最基本、最常用的形式,是面对面的口语交际。在本节课当中,我为学生创设了去旅行的语言情景,以学生为中心,让学生在比较真实的情境中交流,学生的口语交际能力得到了提高,完成了本课的教学目标。
